The rules for using Fácil Notebook.
Agreement
By downloading or using Fácil Notebook ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What You Can Do
Fácil Notebook grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to:
- Use the app on devices you own or control
- Create, edit, and export notebooks for personal or educational use
- Use AI features to generate summaries, flashcards, and action items from your content
What You Can't Do
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
- Resell or redistribute the app
- Abuse AI features (e.g., excessive automated requests)
Your Content
You own everything you create in Fácil Notebook — your notes, recordings, and content belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over your work.
Your content is stored locally on your device or in your personal cloud account (iCloud or Google Drive). We don't have access to your content unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes.
Purchases & Subscriptions
PRO (One-time purchase): Unlocks unlimited notebooks, recording, transcription, and flashcards. Pay once, use forever.
AI Features (Subscription): $1.99/month for AI-powered summaries, flashcards, and action items. Cancel anytime through your App Store settings.
All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) and are subject to their terms and refund policies.
AI Features
When you use AI features, your content is sent to OpenAI for processing. This is subject to OpenAI's Terms of Use.
AI-generated content (summaries, flashcards, action items) is provided as-is. Always review AI outputs for accuracy.
Disclaimer
Fácil Notebook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make a great app, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
We are not liable for any loss of data, academic consequences, or other damages arising from use of the app. Please back up important work.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
